howdy, my name is shelby, but you can also call me shelbs. i am an nineteen year old, transgender (he/they/she), queer artist from the midwest (MI). i am a freshman in college, and have been apart of the online art community for roughly 6 years now.
my art is all over the place, and my motivation is based purely on spontaneous bursts of energy. i would consider myself more of a humanoid artist, but i also draw anthro art and characters!

TERMS OF SERVICE

By commissioning or buying one of my designs, you automatically agree to my Terms of Service. If in any way these terms are broken, I have the right to: cancel a commission, revoke a design, block and blacklist.

(1) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

1. My original pieces shall not be edited in any way, including the use of AI.
11. I reserve the right to use my art as commission examples, promotional material, etc (unless otherwise discussed).
111. Referencing my artwork, taking inspiration, using a similar style to my own, is okay within reason.
1V. Tracing, copying, or very heavily referencing my artwork is strictly prohibited.
V. The use of my artwork as Crypto, or NFTs is not permitted.

(2) DESIGNS

1. Commissioning a design: I reserve the right to resell rejected or unfinished designs to recoup payment.
11. My designs shall not be traded or sold to someone who is known to be problematic or anyone who I have blocked (or potentially blacklisted). I will revoke the design otherwise.
111. Toyhouse users: DO NOT authorize my designs without asking, authorizing me or giving me a key. It makes me uncomfortable and I like being able to keep track of them.
1V. The owner of my design may use my design in whatever way they want. If NSFW is created, please be just be mindful.
V. Redesigning my designs: This is acceptable as long as the design isn’t edited to the point of complete insimilarity.
V1. You may rehome, resell, or give away my designs as long as you have had the design for at least 10 days and their value is updated (when new art is added—gift art is an exception).

(3) COMMISSIONS + OWED

1. Turnaround time: At the moment I cannot define my motivation on any sort of schedule. I am typically able to complete a piece within 1 week to several months (if a specific deadline is requested, art can be completed in that time frame).
11. Payment must be sent after first initial sketch has been recieved. I will not continue the drawing otherwise.
111. Payment plans can be discussed depending on the payment method.
1V. I have the right to refuse service to an individual, or decline commission requests, if I feel uncomfortable for any reason.
V. I may cancel a commission at any time and can issue a refund, or compensation reward, if necessary.
V1. If you would like to cancel a commission, I must be made aware by at least 10 days after purchase (you can get a 50% refund).
V11. Asking for updates is completely acceptable! Although, if for any reason I suspect that you are rushing me, I may issue you a $5 rush fee.
